A delegation from the city of Glasgow visiting the "académie"
We recently welcomed, from the 26th to 28th November, a delegation from the city of Glasgow in Scotland, partner of our Regional Education Authority and the city of Marseille.
The members of this delegation were three head teachers, an Education Inspector and a representative of the City of Glasgow. During their stay they visited several schools, the College Ambition Réussite Edmond Rostand (Réseau Malpassé), the Lycée Diderot, the Lycée Hotelier de Marseille catering school, and the College Mignet in Aix-en-Provence.
They were also able to discover organisations dealing with integration of pupils into the work environment and with pupils who are dropping out of school.
These meetings enabled some very interesting exchanges concerning points in common and differences between the two systems, and will undeniably inject a real dynamism in the fields of international relations and el opportunities.
Various partnership projects are already being developed.
